大葉榕是棵大樹，有龐大的根部系統，而這些根是突出在泥面上的．大葉榕在香港相當普遍，稍為留意便知道它的特性．留意一些受損的大葉榕，不難發覺它種在狹窄的空間內，或者是修整路面是將根部削平了． Big Leaf Fig is a large tree with enormous root system. These roots are prominent on soil surface. It is very common in Hong Kong and if you just pay a little more attention, you will notice its features. Also you look at some damaged Big Leaf Fig, you will easily notice that they are either planted in a narrow space or the roots are being pared off during roadwork. *translated by Mary Chung |
