當細葉榕纏著另一棵樹木，最終原生樹木會被"絞殺"而死．管理者是任由它生長，讓兩者都有生存的權利，還是要採取果斷行動搬走它呢？

Tree roots absorb nutrients.  If only the root development is confined, tree growth rate will slow down.  Ficus spp. can assimilate nutrients in the air by its aerial roots.  Its life-force is overbearing.  If we do not want them to grow too big, we must exert more effective control on it.

When Chinese Banyan (Ficus microcarpa) winds around another tree, the host tree will eventually be strangled to die.  Shall the forester allow the Chinese Banyan to grow so both have the right to live? Or would it be better to take decisive action to remove the Chinese Banyan?
