過往作者與讀者間的交流以新書出版時的簽名會及新書推介講座來進行，地方小，時間短，形做熱賣的氣氛．現今電子書本的出現，社交網站的興起，以往的宣傳推廣也要有新思維．
當"與樹同行"接近完成時，濃縮版本便會放上facebook內，利用它的留言討論功能來建立讀者群落．你可以對某篇文章留下個人感受，作者Leon
Lau與譯者Mary Chung也會回應交流．如此"與樹同行"的精神便可以在虛擬世界內延續下去．
以往樹木谷也設有討論區，卻惹來不請自來的廣告及無聊言論，facebook的會員制度相信可以減少這個情況．
生態書籍有個特點，不賣弄攝影技巧，主力放在大自然欣賞上，讀者要花一些時間才會喜歡上它，而當喜歡上它時便會留下來形成會員群落．在留言區內，你會找到在某一個地方有某一個人與你有同一個感受．原來當你"與樹同行"時，前面有人行得快一點，旁邊有人與你步履一致，後面有人起步遲一點，卻絕不是孤獨一人！

In the past, exchange between authors and readers

place was small and time was short and created an illusion of ig
hit? Nowadays, with the spring up of e-books and social
networking websites, the former publicity campaigns would surely
require some more brainwork.
When "Walk with Trees" is close to its completion
, the compressed version will be uploaded to Facebook. We will make use of the essage board?to build up the
reader community. You can leave your comments to any articles.
Leon Lau, the author, and Mary Chung, the translator, will then
respond and interact accordingly. In this way, the spirit of alk
with Trees?can be persisted in the virtual world.
he Vale of Trees?used to have forums, but
invited some unsolicited advertising and poppycock. Hopefully, the
membership system of Facebook would whittle down the misuse.
One of the features of books on ecology is that
no photographic skills are to be showed off. The focus is on the
appreciation of nature. It takes some time for the readers to like
it and then stay to become a community member. In the essage
board? you will find someone somewhere shares the same view with
you. When you alk with Trees? you may find someone walking ahead
of you; others walking in line with you; or some others walking
behind you starting a bit late. You are never alone!
