Complex of Love

情意結中的十二篇文章用"情"串連在一起，有24a苦楝和台灣相思的<苦戀相思>，有24b樸樹的<恩愛纏綿>，有24c五月茶的<人生八苦>，有24d路邊盤景的<慈悲>，有24e羅漢松的<隨緣>，有24f秋楓的<宿世因緣>，有24g土沉香的<遺恨>，有24h梧桐的<離愁>，有24i異葉爬山虎的<活在當下>，有24j檸檬桉的<心動>，有24k大葉合歡的<永不放棄>和24l樟木頭的<捨得>．

24d的情景藏有多種情感，不同的人有不同的演譯．當然，什麼也看不見的大有人在．

人要24i<活在當下>，否則便會<愛得太遲>．24j的風動和樹動都是用眼可見，要明白背後含意卻要達至<心動>的境界．

情難定，意難平．是為情意結．

Trees are heartless, but people are hearted.  We love trees and should also keep our eyes on people around us.  Only if we share happiness and joy with others, life is colorful.

There are 12 articles in 「Complex of Love」 which are threaded together with "love".  They are:  24a 「Love-sick」 of Chinaberry (Melia azadarach) and Taiwan Acacia (Acacia confusa); 24b 「Lingering love」 of Chinese Hackberry (Celtis sinensis); 24c  「Eight distresses of life」 of Chinese Laurel (Antidesma bunius); 24d  「Compassion」 of Roadside bonsais; 24e  「Move along with destiny」 of Luo han song (Podocarpus macrophyllus); 24f  「Predestiny」 of Autumn Maple (Bischofia javanica); 24g 「Eternal regret」 of Incense tree (Aquilaria sinensis); 24h 「Parting sorrow」 of Chinese Parasol (Firmiana simplex); 24i  「Here and now」 of Diverse-leaved creeper (Parthenaissus dalzielii), 24j 「Heart beat」 of Lemon-scented Gum (Eucalyptus citriodora); 24k 「Never give up」 of Lebbeck tree (Albizia lebbeck); and 24l  「Let go」 of Camphor tree (Cinnamomum camphora).

There is a variety of sentiments hidden in the scenes of 24d.  Different people have different interpretations. Of course, there are also people who have no visions at all.

People should live 「here and now」 as in 24i, or else it will be 「too late to love」.  In 24j movements of wind and trees can be seen by eyes.  However, to understand the meaning behind, you have to reach the 「heart beat」 state of mind. 

Feelings and sentiments are hard to be certain and understood, and thus, it』s known as 「Complex of Love」.
